PINK EGGSHELLS EVERYWHERE

It was/were a lovely/wonderful/strange day in the woods/garden/forest. The sun check here shone/glinted/beamed down on a cozy tree/bush/log where a mother bird sat/rested/nurtured her newly hatched/freshly laid/precious chicks. But something unusual/peculiar/curious about this nest caught the eye - instead of the usual pale blue or speckled brown,
